Hell, I've just checked my credit card statement and noticed this club prem outfit have been taking 15.95 a month from my account, spoke to the card issuer and they say they cant stop it!
I phoned club prem and the automated phone system asks for either my phone number or cc number or club prem number, oddly neither my card number or my phone number works and I dont have a club prem number.
Looks like I'm going to have to spend some time on this as it runs to hundreds of pounds.
I have also bought from vistaprint in the past, crikey is this where it started?

Rewards First owned by Adaptive Affinity Ltd obtained my credit card details through FlyBe.com (who are as responsible in my opinion). They have stolen £165.00 from my credit card without my authorisation!! When I called them today they told me they couldn't speak to me as I was not the person named on the membership!! Of course I'm not because I didn't request a membership, nor did I authorise them to set one up.

This company have fraudulently stolen money from my credit card, the name and address details they have are not my details nor are they the details against which the credit card is registered. I have contacted Office of Fair Trading as Adaptive Affinity were investigated for unfair consumer practices in 2008 and according to the conditions laid down by the OFT failure to adhere to the conditions could result in more legal action being taken against them. Fingers crossed on that one!

ADAPTIVE AFFINITY LTD have stolen from me and the last time I looked stealing is an actual crime...!! I shall be fighting this all the way and intend to rally as much media support as possible.... for me the only outcome is the closure of this disgusting illegal business.

A serious attempt to breach my company's security appears to have been carried out by Adaptive Affinity (or one it's affiliates). I was obliged to close all trading with the bank for 2 days, whilst investigations were initiated. These investigations are ongoing.
If it transpires that my suspicions have substance, I will be taking out several law suits against the offending party under the data protection act and anti fraud legislation.
Watch this space!!

It gets worse: the latest Adaptive Affinity scam is taking monthly sums from bank account credit and debit card references under the guise of having agreed to credit checks. In November it was Quickcreditscore, this month Credit Score Matters, both routing back to Adaptive Affinity. The November scam was £14.95 a month; the May scam is £19.95pm. Inflation. With the former it was my credit card reference, with the latter my debit card. In neither case had I asked for a credit check (why should I when I can get it instantly for £2, or monthly for £7 from Experian). Nor have I asked for any services from companies such as VistaPrint. So where do these companies get their credit and debit card numbers from? Clearly there is a trade in this information – as in passing on email addresses – but where and how I know not. Again, in both cases my banks reimbursed my losses – clearly at such small amounts it is cheaper for them to do this – but such ‘kindness’ does not address the route problem, the basic scam.

Adaptive Affinity featured in a critical report in the Daily telegraph 2nd of April 2011, Money section, page Y9. However, I cannot find it on http://www.telegraph.co.uk . The journalist was Kara Gammell.

My situation is similar to Raeline 29/12/2010. I to was on line actually with my bank, a credit check offer was made implying the check was free and offered through my bank. When accepting this offer a Quick Credit Score window appeared. I had read about this companies dubious methods so when I came out of it another offer came up for a supply of Acai slimming tablets, it had a promotional code so the supply of tablets at 2.95GBP would be reduced to 2.65GBP. I signed up for this and the tablets were delivered, when my credit card cost appeared on line, there was no invoice with the tablets, the account showed no only the fee of 2.95GBP converted from $US. but also an extra amount of 63.57GBP also converted from $US. The company receiving this money was written as being Youth Nutrition on the credit card statement. Through checking through Google I found all these adverts are in the organization of Adaptive Infinity, Cavendish House, 369 Burnt Oak, Broadway, Edgeware, Middx. HA8 5AW. The Phone No. 020 8732 4317. I called this number but was told it was the Boilermakers Trade Union??? I also contacted QuickCreditScore on 0845 026 1094 who promptly denied all knowledge of the transaction and Adaptive Infinty even though they are in the same building. I have done what the bank required me to do in trying to get my money refunded by informing the companies involved. So with the long list of crooked companies in the portfolio above we now have another in the guise of Youth Nutrition.
