What you&#039;ve got there is the social networking equivalent of &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;PageRank&lt;/a&gt;.  Just swap out &quot;webpage&quot; for &quot;digg user&quot; and &quot;hyperlink&quot; for &quot;digg vote&quot;.  Every user gets a certain quota of positive votes (call it mojo or karma or whatever) for every N timeperiod (N = day or week or something) and they can spread it around, either thick or thin.
